Figures Point to SaaS Satisfaction
The latest report on SaaS adoption from Gartner says that 95% of companies plan to either increase their use of SaaS or at least keep it at the same level. Only 16% said that they are moving any of their SaaS programs to an on-premise model. These numbers reinforce the assertion that SaaS is effective for the vast majority of businesses and programs.
Untying Yourself from the Office
A new report from Microsoft says that 12% of small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) now use some form of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. With companies trying to keep costs down and the fact that most SaaS solutions are much more cost effective than their on-premise counterparts, it is safe to assume this trend is only going to become more prevalent. Additionally, telecommuting and part time home working is growing in popularity across North America, which makes SaaS solutions make sense for these businesses. If someone can access the program they need from any computer, anywhere, productivity and flexibility is going to improve tremendously.
